The PSR 5449G is engineered as the ideal fast-spooling turbo upgrade for EA888 Gen 3 owners seeking strong mid-range response and impressive top-end power without sacrificing daily drivability. Designed as a true drop-in replacement for 2014–2021 Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Skoda and Cupra 2.0 TSI models, this turbocharger installs directly into factory locations while offering a substantial performance increase.

At its core, the 5449G features a dual ceramic ball bearing centre housing, providing exceptional spool, reduced friction, and enhanced durability under high boost. The turbo utilises a 9-blade G-Aero billet compressor wheel with Extended Tapered Tip Technology to improve airflow and maintain rapid response. Matching this is a 9-blade G-Aero Inconel 713C turbine wheel, designed to withstand extreme exhaust temperatures found in tuned EA888 applications.

The ported-shroud compressor cover helps prevent surge and stabilises airflow at varying boost levels, while the integrated speed sensor port gives tuners the ability to safely monitor shaft speed. Out of the box, the PSR 5449G package includes all required hardware, allowing for a clean, seamless installation.

With the correct supporting modifications and ECU calibration, this turbocharger is capable of supporting up to 600 BHP while maintaining excellent street manners.
