The PSR 5455G is engineered for enthusiasts seeking rapid spool, consistent mid-range torque, and strong top-end power from their EA888 Gen 3 engine. Designed as a true drop-in replacement for 2014–2021 Volkswagen and Audi 2.0 TSI MK7 models, this turbocharger fits factory locations while delivering a substantial performance boost over the OEM turbo.

Built around a dual ceramic ball bearing centre cartridge, the 5455G minimises shaft movement and friction, improving turbo response and ensuring long-term durability under high-boost conditions. The turbo features a 9-blade PTG-Aero billet compressor wheel with Extended Tapered Tip Technology to maximise airflow and efficiency. Complementing this is a 9-blade PTG-Aero Inconel 713C turbine wheel, designed to withstand extreme exhaust temperatures commonly seen in tuned MQB-platform engines.

The anti-surge ported-shroud compressor cover stabilises airflow during rapid throttle transitions, helping maintain smooth boost delivery. With an integrated speed sensor port, tuners can monitor shaft speed for optimal safety and performance at high boost. With the correct supporting modifications, the PSR 5455G comfortably supports 600+ BHP.
