These billet Oil Pumps have been designed and manufactured in Australia specifically to suit high performance RB25/RB26 engines. The pump is a true anodized BILLET aluminium oil pump, not a machined casting. Based on the OEM version, with changes made after consultation with a number of Australian engine builders.

The pump bolts on to the same place as the factory pump and does not require any special tooling to fit. This pump utilises special oil pump gears made, specifically for them. These pumps flow approx 15% more oil flow than an OEM pump.

Rear cover flex on OEM pumps have always been an issue. The aluminium cover plates flex and allowing oil to escape back into the sump at high RPM. The Billet Oil Pumps come with a steel backing plate, eliminating this problem and ensuring that good pressure is maintained even at high RPM.

Extensive bench testing has been performed on these pumps, with specialised testing equipment, to allow real pressure readings to compare them to the OEM pumps. Pressure figures have been taken from 750 to 8000 RPM. There is no guess work – you can see exactly how these pumps perform compared to OEM pumps.
