LS2 / L76 / L77 / Holden L98 6.0L 4.000-inch Stroker Rebuild Kit
A forged rebuild package for the LS2 / L76 / L77 / Holden L98 6.0L Gen IV LS block family with a 4.000-inch nominal bore. Match the selected piston bore and crown design to your measured block and intended build.
Kit inclusions
- CP Bullet forged pistons with matching rings, pins and locks; selected BLSR Race options carry a displayed additional charge.
- Spool 6.125-inch conrods with ARP2000 bolts as standard, with the listed rod and bolt upgrades.
- ACL Race Series conrod and main bearings in the selected sizes.
- Two Cometic MLS 4.060-inch bore, .051-inch compressed-thickness head gaskets (C5751-051).
This version requires a compatible 4.000-inch stroker crankshaft. The crankshaft is not supplied, and block, camshaft, piston-skirt and windage-tray clearances must be checked throughout rotation. The stated 6.0L or 6.2L size identifies the original block family, not the finished stroked displacement. A crankshaft, camshaft, lifters and AFM/VVT conversion parts are not included.
Engine and head compatibility
Engine codes group the nominal block family. They do not replace checking the actual block, head casting, chamber shape, deck height, rod/pin dimensions, crank journals and bearing clearances. These pistons are for the specified LS 15-degree/L92 head geometry. Dedicated AFR/Brodix 12-degree, LS7/LSX, other rod lengths or pin sizes, and 4.125-inch-and-larger big-bore combinations are outside this listing.
L98 means the Holden 6.0L Gen IV LS engine. Earlier Chevrolet Gen I L98 and other engines reusing these codes are not covered.
Piston dimensions
All options below use 6.125-inch rods and .927 x 2.250-inch pins. BLS options use the listed 1.5/1.5/3.0mm rings; BLSR Race options use 1.2/1.2/3.0mm rings. Use the matching supplied ring set.

Head and full gasket selection
The 4.060-inch gasket opening is larger than the listed cylinder bores. Your builder must also confirm chamber/bore-edge coverage, deck and sleeve geometry, surface finish and the required compressed thickness. The optional SPG-F-LS2 full gasket set is for LS2 applications only and excludes head gaskets. Its suitability for L76, L77 and Holden L98 has not been established; do not select it for those engines without a separate fitment check.
Machining and assembly
Have the engine builder approve the final bore before ordering or machining. The presence of an oversize piston in the selector does not establish that an original-liner block can safely accept it. Measure wall/liner condition, piston-to-wall clearance, deck clearance, valve clearance and ring gaps, and use the instructions supplied with the exact parts. Compression ratio must be calculated using the actual chamber volume, piston crown, deck position and compressed gasket thickness.
Choose pin, conrod and bearing upgrades for the complete engine combination. Follow the exact rod/fastener instructions rather than a generic torque or stretch value.

Which engines does this stroker kit cover?
It groups the LS2 / L76 / L77 / Holden L98 6.0L Gen IV LS block family with a 4.000-inch nominal bore. L98 means the Holden 6.0L Gen IV engine.
Is a crankshaft included?
This version requires a compatible 4.000-inch stroker crankshaft. The crankshaft is not supplied, and block, camshaft, piston-skirt and windage-tray clearances must be checked throughout rotation. The stated 6.0L or 6.2L size identifies the original block family, not the finished stroked displacement. The crankshaft is not included.
Which piston bores can I select?
4.005, 4.010, 4.020, 4.030, 4.040, 4.045 inches.
What is different about the BLSR Race options?
The listed BLSR pistons use a 1.2/1.2/3.0mm ring pack. The listed BLS pistons use 1.5/1.5/3.0mm rings. The selector shows the additional BLSR price. Choose the crown, compression height and bore for your build, not the prefix alone.
Which head gaskets are included?
Two Cometic MLS C5751-051 head gaskets with a 4.060-inch bore opening and .051-inch compressed thickness. Verify chamber and bore-edge coverage, deck and sleeve geometry and the required thickness with your builder.
Can I add a full gasket set?
The optional SPG-F-LS2 full gasket set is for LS2 applications only and excludes head gaskets. Its suitability for L76, L77 and Holden L98 has not been established; do not select it for those engines without a separate fitment check.
Will the kit retain or delete AFM or VVT?
It does not include an AFM/DOD delete kit, camshaft, lifters or VVT conversion parts. The engine builder must check the valvetrain configuration and piston-to-valve clearance for the actual engine.
Do the bearing sizes or piston choice guarantee final compression and clearance?
No. Measure crank journals, housing bores, piston-to-wall and piston-to-valve clearances. Calculate compression using the actual chamber, crown, deck clearance and head gasket. Follow the supplied CP, Spool, ARP and ACL instructions.
