Performance Strings Nissan TD42 Valve Springs Ti Kit

Performance Springs PST 5001400K is a performance single valve spring and titanium retainer kit designed specifically for the Nissan TD42 engine.

The kit is designed to provide improved valve train control for performance TD42 applications, with 105 lb of seat pressure and 230 lb at 0.500" valve lift.

The springs have an installed height of 1.665" and are specified for a maximum valve lift of 9.5 mm.

The kit includes 12 PVS single valve springs and 12 titanium retainers, providing the components required for the Nissan TD42 application.

Important Installation Information:

Always verify installed height, valve lift, spring pressure, coil bind clearance, retainer compatibility and all other dimensions against the specific engine and cylinder head configuration before installation.

Performance Valve Springs states that the installer is responsible for checking and rechecking all dimensions, pressures, applications and specifications before, during and after installation. The supplier also specifies an approximate ±8% tolerance on valve spring pressure specifications.

Titanium Retainer Note: Performance Valve Springs manufactures its titanium retainers in-house and advises that delays may occur. The supplier currently notes a 2–3 week delay on titanium retainers. It also advises that the majority of its titanium retainers do not fit the OEM spring, so compatibility should be confirmed before ordering.
