The Haltech Nexus R3 is a highly integrated Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) that combines the functionality of an engine management system, power distribution module, data logger and wideband controller into a single powerful device.

Designed to simplify vehicle wiring while providing advanced engine and vehicle control, the Nexus R3 offers precise management of fuel injection, ignition, electronic throttle, fuel pumps, thermofans, transbrake systems and other vehicle functions.

With extensive configurable inputs and outputs, onboard wideband control, an integrated 4 Bar MAP sensor and dual CAN communications, the Nexus R3 provides a comprehensive control solution for high-performance street, motorsport and competition applications.

Inputs & Outputs

• 4 x 25A continuous push-pull outputs, PWM capable up to 5 kHz, suitable for powering injectors, coils, transbrake, thermofans, fuel pumps and other high-current devices

• 8 x Peak/Hold Injector Drivers, which can also be configured as low-side drive outputs

• 8 x Low Current Ignition Outputs, which can also be configured as low-side drive outputs

• 6 x Low-Side Drive Outputs (DPOs) with PWM capability

• 6 x Push-Pull / H-Bridge Outputs, rated to 8A and PWM capable, suitable for electronic throttle and other bidirectional devices

• 11 x 0–5V Analog Inputs with electronic throttle redundancy support and switchable 5V pull-up

• Trigger and Home Inputs featuring differential inputs, adjustable thresholds and configurable glitch filtering

• 6 x Synchronous Pulsed Inputs with zero-crossing or adjustable thresholds, configurable for cam sensor inputs, frequency inputs or 0–5V analog inputs

• Onboard Wideband Controller supporting NTK and Bosch LSU 4.9 sensors

• Onboard 4 Bar MAP Sensor for accurate manifold pressure measurement
