The Atomic MLS-D Head Gasket has been purpose-built for high-performance Ford Barra engines operating under extreme cylinder pressures and high boost levels. Featuring an advanced diesel-inspired 3-layer MLS construction, the MLS-D provides superior combustion sealing compared to conventional MLS head gaskets.

Unlike traditional single-layer steel designs, the MLS-D incorporates a wrapped outer layer that reinforces the combustion sealing area to create a highly durable fire ring. This additional strength is especially beneficial for Barra engines, which utilise only four head bolts per cylinder, helping maintain reliable sealing in demanding applications.

Designed to suit performance builds from 400HP through to 1400HP+, the Atomic MLS-D head gasket has been proven in testing to withstand boost pressures of up to 45psi.
