Yella Terra Ford Barra Billet Steel Flexplate – YT9921
Built for high-output Ford Barra applications, the Yella Terra YT9921 billet steel flexplate is a heavy-duty replacement for the factory sheet-metal flexplate used behind BA, BF, FG and FG X 4.0L DOHC inline-six engines. It is designed to provide greater strength and stability under the torsional loads produced by modified turbocharged and naturally aspirated Barra engines.
CNC-machined to factory specifications, the YT9921 uses multiple torque-converter bolt patterns to suit common factory transmissions and selected aftermarket converters. Eight machined slots help reduce rotating mass while increasing airflow around the torque converter. A factory-specification 160-tooth ring gear is supplied fitted, making the assembly ready for installation with the correct longer mounting hardware.

Installation note: The flexplate requires crank and torque-converter bolts approximately 10 mm longer than standard. These bolts are not included. Installation and fastener selection should be completed by a suitably qualified technician.
Yella Terra also advises that enlarging the crank holes to 15/32 inch can allow fitment to early Ford 144, 170, 221 and 250ci six-cylinder engines. This modification should only be assessed and performed by an experienced engine builder.
