How do I size injectors for my build?

Injector size depends on horsepower, fuel type and cylinder count. E85 needs larger injectors than pump fuel.

When is a surge tank needed?

High power, track use or drifting often require a surge tank to prevent fuel starvation.

What fuel types can the Turbosmart FPR10 Fuel Pressure Regulator handle?

The Turbosmart FPR10 is designed to be compatible with all fuel types, including race fuels and aggressive leaded fuels. This versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of performance applications.

What is the pressure range for the standard version of the FPR10?

The standard version of the FPR10 has an adjustable pressure range from 35 psi to 80 psi, allowing for precise fuel pressure management in high-performance setups.

Does the FPR10 include fittings for installation?

Yes, the FPR10 comes with 10AN inlet and outlet fittings, as well as return fittings, making it ready for installation in -10AN fuel systems.

What is the significance of the 1:1 ratio in the FPR10?

The true 1:1 ratio in the FPR10 ensures that fuel pressure is maintained in direct correlation with boost pressure, providing consistent fuel delivery under varying engine loads.

Can the FPR10 be used in low-pressure applications?

Yes, there is a low-pressure variant of the FPR10 available, which operates in the range of 3 psi to 20 psi, suitable for carburettor systems and other low-pressure applications.
