This spring and titanium retainer assembly is engineered for Ford Modular 5.4L 260/290 kW engines operating with increased RPM or moderate camshaft upgrades. The increased spring load provides improved valve control within the constraints of the modular roller-follower system.
Spring Characteristics

- Open Pressure: 245 lbs at 0.500" lift
The titanium retainers reduce reciprocating mass, improving stability at elevated valve speeds. The system installs as a direct replacement within factory tolerances.
