What bolts do these conrods use and how should I tighten them?

These rods use ARP conrod bolts, usually ARP2000 as standard with L19 or CA625+ available on some models. ARP2000 bolts are generally torqued to around 55 ft-lb for 3/8 inch and around 75 ft-lb for 7/16 inch when using ARP Ultra-Torque lube. L19 bolts must be tightened by stretch, not torque. Always refer to the latest ARP instructions for exact specifications.

Do these conrods have a horsepower rating or warranty?

No. Like other performance rods, they do not carry a horsepower or performance warranty. Spool warrants workmanship before installation, but once fitted, power handling depends entirely on machining, clearances, tuning, fuel, boost level and rpm.

Do the big end and small end need machining?

They often do. Crank journals and pin bores vary between engines, so your builder should measure the big end oil clearance and small end pin clearance and hone as required before assembly.

What is the recommended machining for the SCR7063 conrods?

The SCR7063 conrods may require big-end honing to ensure proper fitment due to potential variations in factory journal sizes. It's essential to check the clearances with your crankshaft to achieve optimal performance.

What is the weight of the SCR7063 conrods?

The total weight of each SCR7063 conrod is approximately 570 grams, with a rotating weight of 400 grams and a reciprocating weight of 170 grams. This weight contributes to the overall balance and performance of your RB30 engine.

Can I use SCR7063 conrods in a stroker application?

Yes, the SCR7063 conrods are suitable for use in RB32 and RB34 stroker applications. However, ensure that your engine builder verifies the compatibility with your specific stroker kit and checks all necessary clearances.

What type of fasteners are included with the SCR7063 conrods?

The SCR7063 conrods come with Carrillo 3/8 bolts as standard. These bolts are designed for high-performance applications and should be installed following ARP's latest torque specifications for optimal reliability.

What is the pin bore size for the SCR7063 conrods?

The SCR7063 conrods feature a pin bore size of 21mm. Ensure that your pistons are compatible with this pin size for proper assembly and performance.
