What bolts do these conrods use and how should I tighten them?

These rods use ARP conrod bolts, usually ARP2000 as standard with L19 or CA625+ available on some models. ARP2000 bolts are generally torqued to around 55 ft-lb for 3/8 inch and around 75 ft-lb for 7/16 inch when using ARP Ultra-Torque lube. L19 bolts must be tightened by stretch, not torque. Always refer to the latest ARP instructions for exact specifications.

Do these conrods have a horsepower rating or warranty?

No. Like other performance rods, they do not carry a horsepower or performance warranty. Spool warrants workmanship before installation, but once fitted, power handling depends entirely on machining, clearances, tuning, fuel, boost level and rpm.

Do the big end and small end need machining?

They often do. Crank journals and pin bores vary between engines, so your builder should measure the big end oil clearance and small end pin clearance and hone as required before assembly.

What is the recommended machining for the Carrillo conrods SCR5267?

The Carrillo conrods SCR5267 may require honing of the big-end bore to ensure proper fitment on the crankshaft journals. Always verify clearances and tolerances with your engine builder to achieve optimal performance.

What are the specifications for the big end bore and pin bore of these conrods?

The big end bore for the SCR5267 conrods is 2.083 inches, while the pin bore measures 0.812 inches. Ensure these dimensions are compatible with your crankshaft and pistons for proper assembly.

What is the weight of the Carrillo conrods SCR5267?

The total weight of each Carrillo conrod SCR5267 is 527 grams, with a rotating weight of 373 grams and a recip weight of 154 grams. This weight contributes to the overall performance and balance of your engine.

What is the centre-to-centre length of the SCR5267 conrods?

The centre-to-centre length of the Carrillo conrods SCR5267 is 5.23 inches. Make sure this length aligns with your engine specifications to ensure proper fitment.

Are there any specific installation considerations for the SCR5267 conrods?

When installing the SCR5267 conrods, ensure that the fasteners are properly lubricated with the included CP-Carrillo moly-based lubricant. Follow ARP's guidelines for torque or stretch specifications to maintain reliability under high-performance conditions.
