How to Place an Order
How you order depends on whether you are a retail customer or an approved trade account holder.
Retail Customers
Order directly through the Spool Imports website. Browse, add to cart and check out using your preferred payment method. If you run into any trouble or have questions about a product before ordering, contact us by phone or email and we will help you through it.

Trade Account Customers
Approved trade customers can place orders through the Spool trade portal, by phone or by email. The trade portal provides access to trade pricing, order history and account management.

Parts Not Listed or Specific Requirements
The Spool Imports website lists our core stocked range, but we can source considerably more than what is shown online. If you are looking for a part that is not listed, or you have a specific application with requirements that do not match a stocked product, get in touch and we will work through the options with you.

Custom and Special Orders
Custom Parts
Custom pistons, crankshafts and other made-to-order components are available. Custom orders must be submitted by email with full specifications. We will review your requirements and provide a quote covering price, freight and lead time.
- Email your specifications to [email protected]. Include your engine platform, bore size, stroke, pin diameter, compression height, intended use, power target and any other relevant measurements or requirements. The more detail you provide, the faster and more accurately we can quote.
- We review your specs and provide a quote covering price, freight cost and manufacturing lead time. We will contact you if we need any clarification on your specifications.
- Confirm the order and pay in full. Custom orders proceed to manufacture once full payment is received. No refund or cancellation is available once manufacturing begins.
- We will contact you when your parts are ready to dispatch.
OEM and Unlisted Performance Parts
If you are looking for performance parts or components that are not listed on the website, contact us with the details. We have access to a wide supplier network and can often source parts that are not part of our standard stocked range.
Delivery
Spool Imports dispatches orders within 2 business days of payment being received, provided all items are in stock. International orders are sent via express air freight unless otherwise arranged. Full details on transit times, insurance and what to do if your order is delayed or damaged are covered in our shipping policy.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight, dimensions and destination of your order.

How do I place an order with Spool Imports?

What payment methods does Spool Imports accept?
Spool Imports accepts credit and debit card via Stripe, PayPal, bank transfer, Afterpay, Zip Pay, Klarna, direct debit, and Capricorn account payments. Afterpay, Zip Pay and Klarna are available to Australian customers only. Capricorn is available to Australian customers only. Bank transfer is available for Australian and New Zealand customers.
What currencies does Spool Imports accept?
Spool Imports accepts Australian Dollars (AUD), New Zealand Dollars (NZD), British Pounds (GBP), Euros (EUR) and US Dollars (USD). Prices on the website are displayed in local currency where supported or AUD where not supported. The exchange rate for other currencies is determined by your payment provider at the time of the transaction.
Can I pay by bank transfer from New Zealand?
Yes. Spool Imports holds a New Zealand bank account to make NZD internet banking payments straightforward for New Zealand customers. Bank account details are provided when order your is confirmed.
Can I order a part that is not listed on the website?
Yes. Spool Imports can source a wide range of parts beyond what is listed online. Email [email protected] or call +61 7 5645 1333 with the details of what you need and we will come back to you with availability, price and freight costs, usually within 24 hours.
How do I order custom pistons or a custom crankshaft?
Custom orders must be submitted by email to [email protected] with full specifications including engine platform, bore size, stroke, pin diameter, compression height, intended use and power target. We will review the specs and provide a quote on price, freight and lead time. Full payment is required upfront and custom orders cannot be cancelled once manufacturing begins. Custom parts typically take months, not weeks.
How quickly will I get a response to an enquiry?
