What bolts do these conrods use and how should I tighten them?

These rods use ARP conrod bolts, usually ARP2000 as standard with L19 or CA625+ available on some models. ARP2000 bolts are generally torqued to around 55 ft-lb for 3/8 inch and around 75 ft-lb for 7/16 inch when using ARP Ultra-Torque lube. L19 bolts must be tightened by stretch, not torque. Always refer to the latest ARP instructions for exact specifications.

Do these conrods have a horsepower rating or warranty?

No. Like other performance rods, they do not carry a horsepower or performance warranty. Spool warrants workmanship before installation, but once fitted, power handling depends entirely on machining, clearances, tuning, fuel, boost level and rpm.

Do the big end and small end need machining?

They often do. Crank journals and pin bores vary between engines, so your builder should measure the big end oil clearance and small end pin clearance and hone as required before assembly.

What is the recommended machining for the SCR5304 conrods?

The SCR5304 conrods may require honing of the big-end or small-end to ensure proper fitment due to variations in journal and pin sizes. Always verify clearances with your specific engine setup.

What is the weight of the SCR5304 conrods?

The total weight of the SCR5304 conrods is 560 grams, with a rotating weight of 409 grams and a reciprocating weight of 151 grams. This weight contributes to the overall performance and balance of your engine.

Are these conrods suitable for both 4 and 6 cylinder applications?

Yes, the SCR5304 conrods are designed for use in both 4 and 6 cylinder Nissan L16 and L24 engines, providing versatility for various builds.

What is the centre-to-centre measurement of the SCR5304 conrods?

The centre-to-centre measurement of the SCR5304 conrods is 5.235 inches (133 mm), which is critical for ensuring correct fitment in your engine.

What type of fasteners are included with the SCR5304 conrods?

The SCR5304 conrods come with 3/8 inch Carrillo bolts, which are designed for high performance and reliability. Ensure to follow the appropriate torque or stretch specifications for installation.
