What is an RB34?

The RB34 is a stroked version of the RB30, increasing the factory 3.0L capacity to a massive 3.4L. This is achieved using our billet RB34 crankshaft which increases stroke from the standard 85mm to 94mm.

Why Custom Pistons?

The RB34 kit requires pistons with an altered pin height to compensate for the longer stroke. These are not off-the-shelf items – each piston is designed to your exact needs. Whether you require a specific compression ratio, a particular head design (RB25, RB26, or SOHC), a custom bore size like 86.25mm, or optional coatings, we can provide it all as part of your build package.

Choosing the Right Conrods for Your RB34 Build

We offer two conrod options in the kit:

• H-Beam Conrods – our proven strong and reliable design, suitable for most RB34 builds.
• Special I-Beam Conrods with 3/8” bolts – designed to provide the extra clearance needed for the longer stroke.

Important note: our Drag Pro and X300 conrods with 7/16” bolts do not fit an RB34 build without extensive block clearancing, and even then, may not fit at all. If you need either of these heavy-duty conrod styles, the RB32 stroker kit is the better option for you.
